ABOUT OUR TEAM

We are the RoboHawks for Williams Field High School located in Gilbert, AZ. This club began in 2015 with a few students who were interested in designing and building robots, this is the 6th year for the Robotics Club. We meet after school two to three days a week, students use the design process to build, and program a robot for FTC (First Tech Challenge). The design aspect of our team uses Autodesk Inventor Pro to model the designs built and designs that are intended to be built.

First Tech Challenge

Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students work together with other schools to score points using robots of their own design. While collaborating with other alliance members, students realize the value of hard work and dedication. Team members do what they love to do while building lasting friendships. In addition to the competition itself, teams must also raise funds and design solutions for their community. Through these different aspects of the program, students have access to millions of dollars in university scholarships.
